The Bad-Tempered Ladybird!

Our Prep 1 children absolutely loved the Eric Carle story of ‘The Bad-Tempered Ladybird’. The children used this story as an inspiration for some writing and a display. The children pulled their best ‘bad-tempered’ faces and wrote about what makes them very grumpy, the answers were very good. We then put their faces onto ladybird bodies and put their speech bubbles from the mouths on our display – the children think these are brilliant and we agree! We were then very lucky to find a ladybird in our garden which we carefully observed before letting it go again on the flowers! 😠🐞✏️👍
